Custom Cap Samples: From Request to Approval
A sample is the point where artwork, cap construction and finish come together. Confirm the scope before it is made, review the physical cap against your brief, and record approval before bulk production starts.
Confirm what the sample covers
- Standard sample fee: US$50 for one ordinary cap sample with one logo; shipping is not included.
- More than one logo position: the US$50 fee does not cover multiple logos. Send each position and decoration method for a separate price confirmation.
- Complex designs: special or complex samples are quoted after the design and construction are reviewed.
- Artwork and materials: agree on the logo file, size, placement, cap fabric and colour before the sample schedule is confirmed.
The sample fee is refunded when the bulk order for the same design reaches 1,000 pieces. Shipping remains separate. Ask for the refund condition to be shown with the sample and order quotation.

Confirm the sample brief
Settle the artwork, logo positions, fabric and main construction details so the sample can be made to a clear reference.
Allow 7–15 days for sampling
Sample timing is 7–15 days, depending on the style and requirements. Confirm the expected date after the brief is reviewed.
Review and approve the sample
Check fit, dimensions, colour, logo placement and finish on the physical cap. Send any revisions clearly and approve the final sample before bulk.
Start bulk after the agreed conditions
Bulk production takes about 25–30 days after sample approval and receipt of the agreed payment. Shipping time is additional.
A useful sample approval checklist
- Does the cap shape, fit and construction match the agreed reference?
- Are fabric and colour acceptable beside the approved reference?
- Are logo size, position, colours and decoration method correct?
- Are seams, edges, closures and other requested details present as agreed?
- Have all required changes been resolved and recorded before approval?
If something needs changing, send a marked photo with one numbered list of required corrections. Keep the final approval tied to the exact sample and artwork version you reviewed.
